Hundreds of people lined the streets on Saturday to watch the annual Berlin Harvest Festival Parade. It was quite rainy in the morning when vendors were setting up for the Harvest Festival Rib Cook-off, but by mid-afternoon it was blue skies and lots of sunshine, perfect weather for the parade. In the pic above everyone’s excited about all the candy being tossed by parade participants. Actually it was a lot more than just candy, there were donut holes, small toys, and even home-made ice cream. I must confess that in addition to taking some pics, I snatched a few goodies myself.
